The Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) is an essential online platform set up by the Indian government to effectively tackle and resolve the grievances of citizens from every corner of the country. This cutting-edge system leverages technology to make the grievance redressal process smoother, ensuring that complaints and concerns are addressed promptly by the right government bodies. CPGRAMS is a single-point platform by which citizens can smoothly file their grievances, track status of their complaints, and have timely information of what action has been taken by the authorities. Through a clear and accessible platform, CPGRAMS makes it possible for citizens to participate in governance and hold public officials accountable for their actions.
Not only does it provide an immediate channel of communication between the people and the government, but also assists the government to identify patterns and trends in grievances so that they can proactively take measures to ensure such problems do not recur. Its user-friendly interface and robust monitoring capabilities, CPGRAMS has revolutionized grievance redressal in India, ensuring a more responsive and people-centric style of governance.

Issues which are not taken up for redress:
In CPGRAMS (Central Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System), problems that are not generally accepted for redress include those that are personal in nature, complaints against private individuals or organizations, issues already pending for judicial consideration, requests for information under the RTI Act, policy issues or government decisions which are not actionable, and cases where no clear grievance has been defined. Furthermore, anonymous or frivolous complaints can also be ignored within the redress system.
